Week 1 game dev log
Movement, level design and main menu
Movement: For this week's topic of movement, I have decided to go with a arrow keys(left and right and WASD(A and D) method to move the shields.
Other methods were considered such as mouse inputs, however this felt off especially if the user had to play using a touch pad.
The game had to be tested numerous times to ensure bounds felt correct and could go the full distance. Eventually settling on a range of -20 to 175 (refer to figure 1 for visual representation)

The second main addition is the main menu screen as shown in figure 2, however this screen is not operational yet as I would like to test around with making the board object act as a button and find a good sprite for the button to simulate a quest board feel.

Not much feedback was given as the game was not uploaded however, with Lindsay's help i was able to merge my game objects and fix the colliders to be more accurate (totally didn't forget to add this bit and only remembered 2 hours after 12)
